7. Dispute Resolution
When issues arise between users, RentLokr provides dispute resolution support:
- Step 1: We encourage users to first attempt to resolve issues directly through in-app messaging.
- Step 2: If direct resolution fails, either party may open a dispute through their Account Hub or by contacting support.
- Step 3: Our support team will review the dispute, including any documentation, photos, or communications.
- Step 4: We will work with both parties to reach a fair resolution, which may include partial or full refunds, insurance claim assistance, or other remedies.

We encourage all users to follow these safety practices:
- Meet in well-lit, public places for pickups and returns
- Inform someone you trust about your meeting plans
- Document item condition with photos before and after rentals
- Keep all communications within the RentLokr platform
- Never share personal financial information outside our secure payment system
- Trust your instincts — if something feels wrong, don't proceed
- Report suspicious behavior immediately
