1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering into contracts to use RentLokr. You are responsible for providing accurate, current, and complete information during registration and use.
2. Account Responsibility
You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to keep your credentials secure and to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
3. Rentals and Listings
Users may list items for rent or book items through the platform. You agree:
- To describe all items truthfully and accurately
- That you have the right to rent out any item you list
- To return rented items in the agreed condition and timeframe
- That you accept financial responsibility for damages or losses during the rental period
4. Payment Processing
RentLokr does not process payments directly. All transactions are securely handled by third-party providers (e.g., Stripe, PayPal) according to their terms. You agree that RentLokr is not responsible for any errors, delays, or disputes related to payment processing.
5. Insurance and Liability
RentLokr may facilitate access to third-party insurance coverage for rentals. We are not an insurer and do not guarantee coverage, claims outcomes, or the adequacy of policies. All coverage is provided by external partners and subject to their terms. You understand and agree that:
- You are responsible for understanding the coverage terms
- Claims must be filed with the insurer directly
- RentLokr does not provide reimbursement for uninsured damages
6. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for illegal or unauthorized purposes
- Post false or misleading information
- Infringe on others' intellectual property or rights
- Attempt to hack, disrupt, or overload the platform
- Bypass security features or impersonate another person
7. Disclaimers
RentLokr is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We make no guarantees regarding item condition, renter behavior, or successful outcomes. Use of the platform is at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, RentLokr and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including rental disputes, property damage, or lost profits.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violation of these terms, fraud, or misuse of the platform. You may also close your account at any time by contacting support.
10. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms of Use at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
